7 Days. Endless Memories.
It’s been one week since we returned from Arizona, and it feels like much, much longer than that! Reality has really kicked my ass this week, and I am already counting down the days until our next vacation!
Now, back to reminiscing… our trip was filled with lots laughs, lots of food, lots of driving (1000 Miles), and lots of memories!
We landed nice and early, but we couldn’t get into the condo until 3PM!
So, what did we decide to do? Shopping of course – and we both scored some awesome deals! After shopping, we got settled into the condo, and then went out for a bite to eat!
Well, day two started off with a big laugh! We decided to go play Foot Golf – the “course” was a wet disaster, and we couldn’t even find the hole half the time! Oh, we also played with flat soccer balls, because they didn’t have a pump!
After a morning of disappointment, we treated ourselves to some Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers (THANK YOU KELBY FOR THIS LIFE CHANGING EXPERIENCE)!!!!!!!!
After lunch, we went to check out the Desert Botanical Garden, and let me tell you… if you love cacti as much as I do, this was such a cool experience! I even dragged Bradley back at night to what they call the Electric Desert, which we would both highly recommend to anyone!
To end the day, we went to Bar Louie for some dinner! Little did we know, it was 5 dollar burger night, and to be honest, I think it was the best burger I have had in my entire life!
We started the day off with hiking Echo Canyon at Camelback Mountain – we didn’t make it to the top, but the views were incredible! I would definitely like to do this again! After visiting Camelback, we went to see the famous Hole-in-the-Rock at Papago Park!
And finally, probably the best part of our trip, we went to the Phoenix Suns home opener! I got a $10 dollar hat, Brad won a foam finger (which we gave to a little boy) and the Suns won! It was a perfect night!
We spent a couple hours at the pool before catching an Uber to University Stadium for the Cardinals game! The game itself was super lame, but overall, the experience was awesome and we had some yummy chicken nachos!
We kinda had a lazy day, but we went to Top Golf (which was SO much fun), and then to Old Town Scottsdale for dinner!
We got up early, and hit the road to visit the South Rim of the Grand Canyon! It was definitely worth the drive, but my stomach still hurts thinking about all the silly humans climbing down to get those “perfect” pictures!
We wanted to stop in Sedona on our back, so we took a different route – the views were incredible and I wanted to stop every mile to take more pictures! I am sure if I said "Wow, look at that" one more time, Bradley would have jumped out of the car haha!
Our final day in Phoenix consisted of a little bit of shopping, and bucket of beer, and lots of food! After dinner, we spent the evening relaxing, and packing as we flew home the next morning!
And there it is – our vacation in approximately 520 words!
